Socialisation Exercises

Daily: Sessions of 'watching the world' introducing more varied environments like parks or outside shops. Twice this week: Introduce vacuum cleaner and playback recordings of fireworks to desensitise sounds. Weekend: Visit a pet-friendly store to expose the puppy to different people and animals.

Life Skills Training

Daily: Reinforce 'recall' and 'sit' with added cue words; introduce 'down' command. Continue crate and toilet training with the aim to reduce accidents. Introduce lead basics in the backyard or another safe area.

Husbandry Tasks

Daily: Continue brushing and handling; start basic grooming like paw handling. Twice this week: Practice pretend nail clips to desensitise the sensation.
